Thanks to all for making our first two weeks of Community Soccer such a big success. The weather (at least on game days) has been perfect, there have been no serious injuries, and except for a couple bumps here and there things have generally gone very smoothly. One of the bumps is parking, especially between 9 and 10 am. Because this e-letter only gets to those for whom I have email addresses (about 200 out of 700 club members), it's hard to notify everyone of the need to park in the west lot if the east lot is full. But if at least those on distribution of this e-letter would try to avoid the east lot, that would be a big help! The other bump is congestion on Fields 1 and 2 during the Kindergarten practice. We're changing the time for half of the Kindergarten teams effective May 1 from 9:00 to 10:15 to help alleviate this. So beginning this weekend, Kindergarten teams F through J will meet at 10:15 instead of 9:00. Of course once the games start on May 15 the Kindergarten teams will follow their published schedule. Oh, one more thing before I sign off. Last Saturday all players received flyers announcing team pictures for this week. Please make note of the time for which your team is scheduled and make sure you are all on time! If you don't know your time, ask your coach. And if for some reason you did not receive a flyer, come early on Saturday and pick one up at the Diamond Community Center. Continued good luck and safe soccer to all members of CSC!
