Coaches now contacting players

Coaches for our fall season met on Monday night, August 12 at the Diamond Sports Complex. All players will be receiving calls or emails from their assigned coaches over the next several days to let them know when and where to meet for the first team practice session. If you haven't been contacted by Monday, August 19 please email the club and we'll get you connected. Practice for all divisions other than Kindergarten starts the week of August 19. Kindergarten teams meet for their first formal practice session on opening day, August 24.

Parents are urged to avail themselves of the information posted on the club website, and particularly your team page. At the top of the screen, click on TEAMS, Team Directory, and then select your child's team. Here's a hint: simply type your child's team number in the search field and hit Search to go directly to the team page. Coaches have been urged to use this resource for communications with parents to stay up to date on practice schedules, game day snacks, and other important information. Parents can post photos of their kids and share comments with other team parents and coaches.

A reminder about jerseys--if you do not have an official CSC blue and yellow jersey there are two opportunities to obtain one. The first is at a "drive-thru" event to be held Friday, August 23, from 5 - 6 PM at Diamond. The second is any game day. Please come 20 - 30 minutes prior to your first game to purchase one at the Diamond Sports Complex. Price is $15 for a new jersey (cash or check only, please). Used jerseys, if available, are $5. And if you're wondering, the Home team is listed first on your schedules and players wear blue. Away team wears yellow.

Facilities--Plain Township has advised that the Diamond Sports Complex will remain closed to the public during soccer matches. However, check out the brand new indoor rest room facility at the west end of the complex.
